About Us

The Nepal Rafting and Canoeing Association (NRCA) is the governing body for rafting and canoeing in Nepal. Established to promote and regulate whitewater rafting and canoeing, NRCA is responsible for introducing these sports to national and international sectors, training local guides, and creating jobs to support the country's economy.

Key Objectives:

• Promote Rafting and Canoeing: Introduce and promote Nepal's rafting and kayaking to international and national sectors. 
• Train and Certify Guides: Provide guide training to increase safety and professional certification.
• Support River Conservation: Organize international and national whitewater competitions, and support river conservation leadership awareness and service initiatives.
• Job Creation: Train people and create jobs to help unemployment problems .

NRCA is a member of the International Canoe Federation (ICF) and works closely with the Nepal Olympic Committee. The association is headed by President Mr. Rajiv Shrestha and Secretary General Mr. Sudip Raj Gautam
